Yup, we went to Florida for 5 days
to visit my in-laws.
They live in Pensacola.
It was just beautiful there.
Paul and Dylan golfed every day
while I sat out back and burned my forehead.
I read 2 books, well into my third - reviews to follow.
Dylan swam in the gulf.

I DIDN'T BRING A CAMERA!
I thought Paul was bringing his
and he thought I was brining mine.
Yeah, yeah, we could have picked up a
disposable but we didn't.
So the memories will live on in my mind until Saturday.
I did accomplish something I've always wanted to do.

I went to Sonic.
We don't have Sonic in NY.
To prove what losers we are....we drove in,
parked and decided to go inside to order.
I guess you can't do that at Sonic.
We looked like 3 jerks.
Anyway we each ordered the famous
CHERRY LIMEADE THING.
It was ok.
Tasted like a Shirley Temple to me.
You know, the drink you order when you go
out for a fancy dinner with your parents when you're 5.
Dylan thought it was just Sprite with cherry juice and a lime.
I think he's right.
So, I can now cross "Visit Sonic" off my
100 THINGS TO DO BEFORE I DIE list.

I've only been to Sonic a couple of times & I always feel like an idiot standing outside and talking into the BIG sign to place my order. lol
Oh you do NOT want to go inside a Sonic for any reason! Their food is **yummy** (as fast food goes) but I've been in to use their bathroom and the inside of a Sonic is a SCARY SCARY place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But, we head for the beach in a few weeks and there are FIVE Sonics on the way there, so I am gonna get a fix soon!!!

I tried the cherry limeade thing a couple of years ago...it was good, but not worth the raves I've heard. I'm not much of a fast food person, so I probably wouldn't even go if we had one here.
you should be ashamed of yourself! how can you forget to bring your tracy joy camera bag with a camera in in?!?
Sonics? I'm so jealous. I used to get to go there when I'd visit my cousin in Louisiana. It's torture that they show Sonics commercials all the time on cable.
