My House Smells Like Armpits

Dylan is having two friends sleep over.

The 3 of them played basketball all afternoon.

I suggested showers.

Suggestion declined.

Now my house smells like armpits.

Feeling Crafty

So, I'm feeling a little crafty today and
of course all you crafty people know
that the first thing you do when getting
crafty is clean up your craft area.

I came across a RAK I received from the
wonderful Sara.
Check out the stuff she sent:

How's that for a GENEROUS RAK?!!!

Thank you Sara!!!!

Magic Potion

Yes people, this is magic stuff.

This week I had a little intestinal distress
and a couple of migraines.
Thought, hmmmm, maybe I'm dehydrated.

So yesterday I took myself to the store and
picked up a bottle of Gatorade - Fruit Punch and.....
WHAMMO!
I WAS HEALED!!!
Migraine gone!

Today I had another headache.
More Gatorade......
FELT GREAT!!!!!
I cannot believe how much better
I felt and how quickly it worked.

Yeah, yeah, I know, just drink some more water.
But this is more fun.

Magic potion I tell ya'.
Magic.

Facebook

I was so against it.
Everyone at work was talking about it.
I couldn't understand why anyone would
want to be on it.
Who cares?
I thought it was so silly.
I was above all that.

Yeah, well..........not really.

I'm on Facebook.
...and this is the first Paul is hearing about it.

I used to think, "why would I want to get in
touch with all these people from my past?".
If I really liked them wouldn't I have stayed in
touch with them in the first place?

Well, I was wrong.

Since being on Facebook, I've found:
-my very best friend from high school. We lost touch
during college, but it's so great to chat with her again.
-an old boyfriend, who seems to have grown up a lot
and seems very happy with his life, I'm happy for him.
-one of my very best friends who I had kept in touch
with but we drifted. Michael is so great, I'm so glad we
reconnected. He's been posting some hideous
pics of me from the 80's. The only person laughing
harder than me has been Dylan.
-and lots of other college friends who are scattered
all over the country. I love hearing about their lives.

So, yes, I'm a Facebook Freak.
Wanna "friend" me?
Just type in:

I'm Worn Out

I'm so tired.

Paul is away and I don't
sleep well when he's not home.
You'd think I'd sprawl out across
the bed, but I don't.

So, I'm really tired.

Vacation starts today at 2:01.
Can't wait.

*check this out
This is what Paul is doing:
His best friend is celebrating his
50th birthday.
He took his 3 best buddies to
Palm Springs for a week of golf.

I need some rich friends who want to
take me somewhere for a week.

Anyone?
Anyone?

Curly Girl Cooks - Comfort Food

I didn't feel well this weekend.
Didn't really feel like making dinner.
Decided on some comfort food.

Be prepared:
it's NOT low fat
it's NOT pretty
it's REALLY good

I don't have a name for it.
Let's just call it
"Sheila's Muenster Chicken"

Ingredients:
chicken cutlets, on the thinner side
bread crumbs
milk
olive oil
chicken broth
muenster cheese

After I rinse the chicken, I just put it all in a bowl with some milk.
One less step, one less dish to clean, right?

Lightly brown the cutlets in olive oil, don't cook through.

Put those babies on some paper towels, get rid
of some of the oil.

Let them cool a bit, then slice them up
and place them in a pyrex dish.

Pour in chicken broth, cover about 3/4 of the way up.

Cover and cook at 350 for 45 minutes.

Slice up muenster cheese with your favorite knife.

Cover the chicken.
Look, I told you it wasn't low fat.
Get over it.

Pop back in oven until cheese is bubbly.

Serve with rice (cooked in remaining chicken broth) and
pour drippings from pan over rice.
I told you it wasn't pretty, but trust me...it's good.

As you can see, it's a big hit at our house.
