a bigger tree."
Well, this year we did.
We went to Home Depot and don't start telling me
that I should have gone to the guy in town who sells
trees. They're too expensive and dry - so there.
We took the first tree we saw.
It was big.
Big and expensive, but it was big and that's what we wanted.
We got it into the house, no problem.
Then it relaxed and really opened up.
We have no idea how we're going to get this thing out.
We'll have to chop it up.
Here, take a look.
Keep in mind that Paul is 6 feet tall.
Also, I had to lighten the pics a little so, yes, they look weird.

It's the Ridiculous Tree.

Holy Moses! That's one big tree. It makes Dylan look like he's about 5 standing next to it - he looks so tiny!
We forwent a tree this year because of the bambino - couldn't handle doing the whole tree thing on top of trying to figure out what makes a newborn stop crying.
I think that tree *rocks*!!!!!
We had a 10ft. tree one year...it was awesome, but ya, ridiculous!! It took a butt-load of lights to make it look good! But, I'm sure you are enjoying it now.
If this makes you feel better, we bought ours at Home Depot, too. (Two, actually.) And since we got it the day after Thanksgiving....it's D.E.A.D...DEAD!!! The needles are falling off in record time and we'll be lucky if any needles will be on it by Christmas, not to mention how delightful of a mess it will make whilst trying to drag it out the sliding glass door and trying to avoid the hot tub on the back patio!! FUN FUN!!!!
Merry Christmas! I've been missing you!!!

Your son looks terrified. As well he should. That tree is going to eat him, and anyone else who gets too close.
Holy cow, that tree is huge! Pretty, but huge!
Whoa....Kerry, that is a HUGE tree!!!!! Paul is dwarfed by it and Dylan, well, he does like a bit terrified!!! ONE big tree......funny Kerry, funny!
WOW! Now THAT'S a huge tree!
I look very tiny compared to this giant tree!!!!
(I need to grow another 10 feet to maybe touch the top)
