Each year at this time I search for
fun summer shoes
and each year at this time I consider
BUNION SURGERY
I have terrible feet.
They are flat and they have bunions
and you can thank me later for
NOT
posting a picture of them.
I get pedicures to make the best of a bad situation.
They end up looking "presentable" in open toed shoes.
Do NOT even get me started on those
misguided souls who think it's okay to
force poor, unsuspecting citizens to
VIEW THEIR GROSS, UN-CARED FOR FEET.
COVER THOSE PUPPIES UP!
TRUST ME - NO ONE WANTS TO SEE THEM!
"There ought to be a law...."
Seriously, there should be a law that in order
to wear open toed shoes, you must get a pedicure.
We could use those red light cameras to catch offenders.
Ahh, red light cameras.....don't get me started....
(the light was yellow, when I went).
Anyway, to make a long story a headache,
I have a terrible time finding
great summer shoes because of my
(inherited from my mother) BUNIONS.
Thanks Ma.

cmonnn..no way could you have bad feet..i am sure you are just self concious. i bet if you post a picture others will agree with me
Have you tried Clarks or White Mountain sandals? They have some really cute ones. I saw a pair of Clarks the other day with a pretty flower on the top, just the right size for polished toes to peak out. I ended up getting a pair of Clarks flip flops, which surprisingly had support in them.
I have flat feet too. So I know what a struggle it is to find a comfy pair of summer shoes. Good luck!
Oh no! I HAVE to wear sandals!!!! And I NEVER get pedicures!!!!!! I can't stand wearing closed shoes once the weather is nice. But, I don't have bunions, so maybe it's ok. Actually, every once in a great while I get a pedicure, but I have to have a reason to splurge. In fact, I was wanting one for mother's day, but the place I like is closed on mother's day.
In any case, good luck finding sandals you like and that are comfy!!!!!!!!
Ok, Jill, you get a pass because....well.....because you are you!
Laure, I'll take a look at Clarks. I've tried Born and they are pretty good too. Thank you!
You are talking to the queen of ugly feet! I have come to accept that there is no such thing as "cute" feet. I try to pretty them up as much as I can (I am overdue for my spring pedicure, but up here spring just arrived!). I also have big feet, so cute and comfortable shoes don't exist! Good luck in your quest!!!
Oh yay!!!! My feet say thank you!!!!
