One year ago today I broke my elbow.
We're having cake later.
I went out last night with some great people from camp.
We went for Mexican.
Had a GREAT time, laughed a lot.
However....
when we the party broke up and I was
walking to my car I noticed that it was....
STILL LIGHT OUT!
Yeah, my big night ended at 8:30!
Yet another sign that I am old.
I broke a record today.
I got myself showered, hair dried,
dressed and did the make-up in
30 MINUTES!
I've NEVER done that before.
What inspired me?
Well, at 1:15 I remembered that Dylan's
best friend's birthday party was today.....
at 2:30....and Dylan wasn't even here.
He was at my parent's house.
He never would have forgiven me if I let
him miss the party.
So I really hustled and he got there at 2:25!
Sometimes I really amaze myself.
Actually, I amaze myself quite often.
Not always in a good way.

My Friday night ended at 2:30 am...I didn't make me feel any younger.lol
Ahhh, who needs to stay out and party all night anyways? What's important is that you had a great time. :)
And that's why I stopped blow drying my hair...now I can be ready in 10 minutes or less, depending on if I have to shave my legs or not. :)
That was actually my first impression or knowledge of you: Tommy came home and said "One of my kids' mom's fell and broke her elbow and I had to tell him."
