I became one in high school
I attended an all girls Catholic high school where
our school colors were pink and green.
No, not really, but you'd think so by looking at us.
However, you NEVER wore pink and green on Thursdays
because if you did it meant you were gay.
Whatever.
This was our bible:
We didn't know the book was a JOKE.
We thought it was law and all abided by it.
I bought one on ebay when I started working at our new school.
Seems like these families don't know it's a joke either.
Well, somehow I stumbled upon a bunch of PREPPY BLOGS
and you know what.....those pink and green feelings started up again.
I want these:
($38 for flip flops, stop me please)
and one of these:
Yes my inner preppy is struggling to get out.
I also want anything pink.
I suppose this started when I purchased a summer wardrobe for Dylan from Abercrombie.
Yeah, a whole wardrobe.
It's preppy stuff. Messy preppy, but still preppy.
Those clothes stirred up those old feelings.
I'm so not preppy anymore.
I'm into brown and orange.
I do however own about 6 pairs of khaki pants.
Hmmmm.
WAIT!
PREPS DO NOT HAVE CURLY HAIR.
I know that for a fact as my brother was married on Nantucket
and I was the only woman on the island with curls.
Actually, I think I was the only woman on the island
who didn't have straight blonde hair.
Ok, off to work.
We'll see if I still have these feelings when I get home.

Ha ha ha! I used to be a preppy, too! Even worse than high school was evolving into a sorority girl preppy! My sorority colors are pink and green!!!

I don't think you or I will ever be sporting the straight blond hair!! And I'm not sure that's a bad thing!!
I've never been preppy myself. Always the tomboy so you can probably guess that I don't really care for the color pink either. ***bleh***
BUT!!! That doesn't mean you can't like it. If the ol' pink and green is calling your name again, go for it. Although I agree with not sporting the blonde straight hair. I think your hair looks great on you just the way it is. :)
Now that's funny. I was never really into the whole prep thing - nor was most of my high school. I never really liked pink till recently. Now I love it.
No, preps do not have curly hair. They have perfectly preserved hair pushed back with a headband that coordinates perfectly with their outfit.
If you get the flip flops, you get to get a pedicure. Make sure you take a picture for us :)

However.. you KNOW that those flipflops rule!! and a cute handbag to match.. GO FOR IT!!!

I had that handbook too but it wasn't my bible like it was to some.
