Wow, it's been a whole week since I posted.
Well, let's see, what's been going on.
The economic crisis has hit our school.
We had contract negotiations last week.
I went into my meeting feeling great-
came out of the meeting biting my nails.
A lot of changes were in the works at school,
and I was part of them.
One week later, I had my final meeting.....
HELLO RAISE!
HELLO NEW POSITION!
HELLO NEW RESPONSIBILITIES!
-that's all I can say right now, well, that, and the fact
that I'm very happy. I've stopped biting my nails.
I need a new book to read.
Any suggestions??
Mom is very tired.
I'm cooking for her.
Today I made 2 meatloaves and
a hen house of chicken cutlets.
Lots of mashed spuds and lots of stringbeans.
And while cooking, I stepped in a puddle of
mashed potatoes, barefoot.
Yeah.

Economic Stuff is hitting here in TX too...Congrats on your new position and raise :)
Love, Mere
Congratulations on surviving the economic situation, it is not pretty for so many people!
Books- Have you read the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich? Insanely fun, fast reads that quickly become an addiction- but you must start at One. If you haven't read Water for Elephants, I highly recommend it!
Your mom is so fortunate to have you to take care of her, and the food sounds yummy- except for the foot thing. Ick.
Congrats on your victory at school! That's wonderful that you're cooking for your mom--sounds YUMMY!!
I can't wait to hear more about your job. I've been rading Autobiography of King Henry VIII for about 7 months now. It's not a fast easy ready... but it's darn good. I also have ready for my reading pleasure Water for Elephants which has received great reviews!
Congratulations, Kerry!
Congrats Kerry! Is that part of the shadowing?
