Life is too short to be spent reading books you don't enjoy. My limit is 3 chapters. If I'm not hooked in or about to get there, I'm through. Delete, delete, delete!
I totally give you permission. Actually, even though one of my most favorite books in the entire world (The Poisonwood Bible) is an Oprah book, I found enough of the books on her list depressing enough that the O logo on a book is enough to deter me from picking it up.

My husband bought it for me a few years ago based on Oprah's recommendation - never got past the beginning. Delete it!!
