President Ford
I think I was in 4th grade when he became president. I remember when Carter won the next election, all the kids in my class were upset. We liked President Ford, why, I'm not sure. I guess because he was the President and some "unknown" guy was taking his job.

Hee hee. Ford was President when I was born (Nixon resigned a couple days before my birthday), but I remember feeling the same way about Reagan beating out Carter. Except my mom set me straight and explained why he should be the president instead of Carter. I was in first grade, LOL>
